· Silver Medal: Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon, 2009
· Silver Medal: Yarden Syrah, Single Vineyard, Avital, 2008
The Golan Heights Winery continues to lead the way and win awards at international wine events and competitions, winning several medals at the prestigious 2013 Citadelles du Vin awards held in Bordeaux, France.
The Citadelles du Vin competition is considered one of the most prestigious international wine competitions and many important wineries, from across the world, participate in it hoping that international wine experts will judge their wines favorably. The VinExpo, at which the awards are presented, is held every two years in Bordeaux, France, and is also the leading exhibition for New World wines and also the Far East market.
At the previous Citadelles du Vin, two years ago, the Golan Heights Winery won gold medals for the Yarden Chardonnay, Odem Organic Vineyard, 2010 and the Yarden Heightswine, 2009.
